Microsoft Windows 10 pro official launched on 29 July 2015 all over the world. The good news is that Microsoft provide free upgrade to Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 users. But users also download it from Microsoft insider program official website. This is biggest challenge for Microsoft it’s provide 3.5GB upgrade millions of people all over the world. So for this reasons Microsoft has launched a new feature in Windows 10 called Windows Update Delivery Optimization (WUDO). WUDO help to users for get faster software update.
WUDO works look like torrent system. It is allowing Windows 10 users to download updates from other users. As you know that torrent work as peer to peer network. Peer to peer network mean to deliver and distributing a files each other in computers network and helping other torrent users download these files fast and quickly.
WUDO feature is a good idea to speed up for Windows 10 updates. But on the other side it is true that Windows 10 consume your DSL Bandwidth. It is not great idea.
Windows 10: How to Disable or Turn off Windows Update Delivery Optimization?
1- First left click on start menu button
2- Next click on settings form start menu list
3-Under settings now click on Update & Security options
4- Open Advanced Options
5- Click on “Choose How Updates are delivered”
6- Disable /Turn off the toggle under Updated from More than One Place
